Welcome to Little Learners

A big adventure in learning!

how we are keeping our families Healthy and well

We have always been known for having a clean facility, but with the extra cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures we are taking, our preschool is sparkling!  Check all the ways we are keeping our preschool families, children, and staff, safe and well.

Shoes Removed, socks only

Socks Only

Upon entering, all shoes are removed and stored in respective bins.  Clean and fresh socks are provided for any children who do not have socks on, and then those socks are placed in a laundry bin to be washed at the end of the day.

Hands Washed coming & Going

Wash your hands

Upon entering, the children wash their hands at the sinks with soap and water.  Whether it's singing the "ABC Song" or "Happy Birthday" or quoting a Bible verse, the teachers encourage the children to take adequate time and demonstrate the proper procedure for thorough hand-washing.

Lots of Cleaning

Continual cleaning

While we have always cleaned our facility every evening, we now clean and sanitize and disinfect SEVERAL times a day.  Any surfaces that children and staff regularly touch, such as door handles, gates, and faucets, are sanitized throughout the day.  And lunch boxes and water cups brought from home also get a surface clean before they are put into the refrigerator.

No extras, Please

Only the essential stuff

Backpacks, bags, and blankets are not allowed into the building at this time.  Children are to bring a change of clothing in a Ziploc bag with their name written on it.  This bag will put into the child's cubbie and kept there.  Only coats or jackets (freshly washed each weekend, please) are allowed to be brought into the building.  While parents ARE ESSENTIAL, we are requiring adults to drop their child off at the door and not enter the building.  We are trying to prevent any extra germs from being brought in, in order to keep our children safe and well.

Small class sizes

Small ratios

Having a 6500 square foot facility and 6 classrooms, allows us to maintain a small teacher-to-student ratio in each room.  Our goal is to maintain a limit of no more than 10 children in each classroom, with a smaller ratio in our younger-aged classrooms.
